Blog Journal #9

I was a sophomore in high school when Covid-19 hit and my entire school shifted to Zoom classes, and distance learning. From March of my sophomore year, through September of my Junior year, we were forced to do online learning, through Zoom and Google Classroom. This meant that we weren’t able to be on campus and our classes were shifted to online lectures. In September of my junior year of high school, we had the option to go back to in-person learning, I went back in November of my junior year. I liked distance learning in the beginning, because I could do the work at my own pace, and was able to set a schedule that fit me. However, towards the end of my distance learning, I noticed that I wasn’t being as diligent about my school-work as I had been when I was in-person with a physical teacher watching me.
