When I was younger, in my elementary school years, I didn't use as much technology as much as I do now, but I did use it occassionally. Many of our assignments were on paper and pencil until my Junior year of highschool when Covid-19 hit, we used Google Classroom, then I used Google Docs over Microsoft Word, that is because many of my teachers preferred us to use other software, such as Google Docs. However, I did use other Microsoft tools such as powerpoint, as I do prefer that over Google Slides. In college, I have tended to use Gogle Docs more, because personally I find it easier to navigate when everything is stored in Google Drive. I did learn something new about the ISTE standards. I learned that they provide guidance for tenchology skills, that should be necessary for success and growth of not only the teacher, but the individual.
