My experiences with Twitter, or X, is not that much. I personally don't use Twitter that much, I instead spend more time on other apps, such as News (on Apple) or Tik Tok. Although I know that I shouldn't listen to Tik Tok for my news, I find myself on it way more than Twitter. I, however, do use Instagram a lot, I think it is a great resource to post and keep everyone updated with how your life and stuff like that! However, although I don't use Twitter much now, it is very important for my Personal Learning Network. When I become a teacher, I will be using Twitter to stay up-to-date with the school district, fellow teachers, and maybe even politics. Although I don't like using social media apps to get my news, it is a helpful tool, but I have to make sure that everything I am viewing is non-biased and strictly factual.

The digital divide is used to describe the gap between people who have/don't have access to the internet. The digital divide can affect students because students who have access to computers are at a more advantage compared to students that don't have around the clock access to internet, a computer, or a phone. If I have access to technology in my classroom, I feel as though I'm going to use it. With implementing technology in my classroom, I'm able to make it more fun, by implementing games and technology that can keep the students entertained and enthusiastic about working. However, with this implement, I am going to try and keep my homework, if I give any, to paper-pencil. This is because I don't know how much access my students have at home and I don't want to make anyone feel as though they don't have as much as other students. My recommendation to correct this would be giving paper-pencil assignments so everyone can complete the assignment.

Throughout my academic career, I have always been fortunate enough to have access to technology both at home and in the classroom. Some software that I have used was Kahoot and Google Classroom. I plan on implementing both of these into my future classroom for my students. Kahoot is a fun game that I can use to review materials with my students, but also include a bit of competition and fun! Google Classroom is very similar to Canvas, and I will be open to using both depending on what the "norm" is for my district. I used Google Classroom in high school and middle school to organize my class work, homework, reading and assignments all in one place. Even though most of the assignments were paper-pencil, I was still able to find work if I missed any, as well as it giving parents a way to stay up-to-date with my classroom and not have any lingering questions! I think that these are two very good resournces that can be used in classroom settings that promote fun, hardworking environments for students.
