Copyright is so important in todays day and age, we have to be aware to give credit and make sure that we give proper credit to the original authors. I would deal with these concepts by creating my own materials, and if I had to take ideas from someone else, I would make sure to give them proper credit, because it is their idea. I learned that public domain can be used however they want, this can happen after a certain amount of time, or certain government items. These are all set in place to ensure the proper use and proper credit is given to authors because they have worked so hard in creating these items.

For this section, I will choose academic dishonesty. One thing that I will be doing in my classroom will be implementing more physical writing assignments rather than online assignmnets. I feel as though with new implementations of ChatGPT, it is so much easier to copy and not actually do the work. If we move back to more physical writing on pen-and-paper, it would take a lot more effort to cheat, which would reduce the number of people wanting to cheat. I would use tablets, if possible, in class but all my take-home work would be physical. I believe that this would also help with penmanship and the ability to improve handwriting.

I think that generative AI, such as ChatGPT can be helpful but also harmful in a classroom setting. Some ways that it can be helpful would be to implement it and use it for teachers to help with more creative lesson plans, and more resources are available. For students, it can be used to give more detailed explanations for students on vague questions, such as homework, or essay prompts they are assigned. Although it can be helpful, it can also be quite harmful. For many teachers, it's hard to recognize which students are using AI websites, and which aren't. This is harmful and poses concerns because students aren't actually learning anything.

Some new skills that I acquired from working on the Newsletter Design assignment was learning how to use the header section. Before this, I didn't know that you can have a different header for every page, but now I do. I also realized how to make columns within columns, which is a good skill to fit more on one page. Some ways I can make my newsletter better would be by making everything fit on one page and simplifying the information. I think this can help me in the future because it will be a good tool for me to send home with the students so their parents can stay updated with what the kids are learning.
